Can an ovarian cyst be messing with my hormones?

I recently found out I have 4 cm cysts on each of my ovaries and I was wondering if anyone has had mood swings with cysts. I feel like I’m going nuts. Sad commercials are suddenly bringing me close to tears!

Depending on the kind of cyst, yes, it is possible that it could be affecting your hormones (an example only).
However, I would recommend checking back in with your doctor as well to see what they say.
Ovarian cysts are very closely linked with hormones – in fact getting the hormone balance right is one of the most important aspects of getting rid of your cysts.
