Symptoms Of Ovarian Cysts And How To Get Rid Of Them
Women will most likely get at least one ovarian cyst in their lifetime, however, many of them will go unnoticed and will come and go on their own without you knowing anything about it. However, there are still lots of women that will have ovarian cysts, and while the majority of them are benign and harmless; there are still several women that will have ovarian cysts that are malignant or cancerous. Even if they are benign, ovarian cysts can be quite painful and irritating to deal with all the time.
Ovarian cysts are fluid-like filled sacs that are located on the outside of your ovary. They can range in shape and size, going from a size of a walnut to as big as a baseball. The majority of women will not even notice that they have them; however, there are lots of women that do suffer from them, and have the pain that goes along with it.
Some of the symptoms of ovarian cysts that you may have are:
Fullness or pressure in your lower abdomen—you may feel some pressure or fullness in your abdomen, either on one side or the other, or sometimes both sides depending on if you have an ovarian cyst on both of your ovaries. The pressure will come and go depending on your menstrual cycle and such, but there will be times that the pain can be unbearable.
Menstrual irregularities—you may have more pain than you usually do during your menstrual cycle, and they may also have a heavier flow, and be late or early within a few days. Also, you may also have extreme pain during your mid-cycle, much like during your menstrual cycle.
Burning sensation or pain with urination
Pain during sexual intercourse
Pain during physical exercise
Pain in the lower back and the inside of the thighs
Excessive weight gain for no apparent reason
Breast tenderness
If you feel any of the following, see your doctor immediately, it could be an indication that your ovarian cyst ruptured;
Sudden, severe abdominal pain
Fever with vomiting
Feeling lightheaded, dizzy
Rapid or weak pulse
It is best to go get checked by your doctor if you have any of these symptoms to confirm it is ovarian cysts, however, you do not have to do the treatments they suggest. They will most likely give you two suggestions—antibiotics or a laparoscopy—a minor surgery. However, these are not your only options. There are natural therapies that will immediately relieve your pain and symptoms of the ovarian cysts while shrinking the cysts down until they disappear. Also, with antibiotics or the laparoscopy, you have the numerous side effects that you may get as a result. The natural treatments have absolutely no side effects, are generally much less expensive, and you will not have to worry about getting recurring ovarian cysts, which is a big side effect for the antibiotics, and a big side effect for the laparoscopy is difficulty getting pregnant if you ever choose to do so.
